Netflix's newest installment in the Rebel Moon series Rebel Moon - Part Two: The Scargiver has arrived on the streaming platform. The movie follows the events of its predecessor. A colony on the outskirts of the galaxy struggles to survive under the oppression of a tyrannical regime, placing their hopes in the actions of a small group of rebels.

What follows is The Good, The Bad, and NO Spoilers of Rebel Moon - Part Two: The Scargiver.

The Good

Rebel Moon - Part Two: The Scargiver gives audiences what part one had been missing, action! The majority of this movie is a classic epic battle between a small group of rebel fighters and a much larger and better equipped army.  Getting to see all the characters who we so meticulously recruited in the first film get to use their skills to wage war was great. I also enjoyed getting more backstory on Sofia Boutella’s character Kora.

The Bad

While I appreciated the portrayal of this classic struggle, it ultimately felt predictable, which diminished its impact and led to moments of disengagement. Certain aspects, such as the soldiers' consistent inability to hit a target, were particularly hard to watch and detracted from the overall believability of the film.

My Overall Opinion

I give Rebel Moon - Part Two: The Scargiver a lacking 5 out of 10.
